Citizenship Builder:

You can manage your Rondak's Portal account here - everything from changing your password, personal info and chat preferences.
To change your Citizenship profile click on the Citizenship Builder button on the left.

Password:

To change your password type in the new one the password box and then type is again in the confirm box - by typing it twice you ensure that you know what you are typing - or that you can make the same mistake repeatedly! Be careful when typing - if you mess it up, you will not be able to log in.

Mail Updates:

By checking the box on the left you will receive an e-mail from Rondak whenever he makes updates to the site. By checking the box on the right you will receive a notification from Rondak that you have Unread messages in the Portal Message System. You will only receive a message about the first unread message. You will not receive this again if you get other messages until you read all the unread messages you have.

View Images:

If you choose No then Rondak will limit the amount of images you see (helpful is you have a slow connection and you are browsing through the Worlds lists where there are often a lot of images for the campaigns. If you choose Yes than all images are displayed as they always were.

RP Theme:

This governs how the Portal will appear (backgrounds, borders and buttons). Choose either Fantasy or Science Fiction to control how the Portal looks to you!

Die Roller:

You can choose to have the Die Roller appear in the right hand frame (like the Message window or Chat window) or you can have it launch itself into a new window. Do you like having lots of open windows or have it all contained inside of one. Your choice!

Writing Example:

When you apply with a character to a game, along with the character you create will be the writing sample you place inside this window. Some Referees require a writing sample - some do not. It does not hurt you to have one, especially if you can write an interesting short story.

Message System Options:

You can control the way you view your messages here. This works for all messages across the Portal. System messages, Adventurer messages, Referree and Lurker messages too. The options are:

Message Display:

You can choose between the RP (Rondak's Portal) theme with the aged scrolls or a plain white or plain brown background for you messages. I like the scroll personally, but the choice is yours. This option does not work with Versions 3 and earlier of the Netscape Browser.
To the right of this option you may choose whether to have your messages sorted in Ascending or Descending order by date.

Message System Options:

You can choose to have your messages open up in the right hand frame or to have them launch into a new window.
Below is an option where you can choose to have the messages you send formatted in HTML or auto-formatted.
To the right of this option you can choose how many messages appear in one screen. The default is 25 but you may choose 10, 25, 50, 75, 100, 150, 200 or 250.

Chat Room Options:

You can choose from two types of chat here. Portal Chat - the default or you may choose Real Time Chat which is currently in Beta (still having the bugs worked out of it).
To the right is the option to have the chat in the right hand frame or to open up in a new window.

Chat Room Layout Options:

Like messages you can have the chat sorted in Ascending or Descending order.
To the right is the option to place the messages Above or Below the text entry box (the space where you type).
Below is the option to enter text on single lines or multiple lines.

Personal Details:

The final section contains whatever personal information you choose to share with the Portal. You are not required to provide any of this information except a name and a valid e-mail address. It is up to you if you wish give your first and last name, address and country. The name you give will show up on the Worlds or Characters you create.

Updating:
When you are finished be sure to click the Update Identity button at the bottom of the page or your changes will br lost.
